Regain control of your health and achieve a better quality of life.
My goal : Use reflexology as the main tool and to complement it with naturopathic advice to take into account the person as a whole.
The Origins of Naturopathy
The principles of Naturopathy were first used by the Hippocratic School of Medicine in about 400 BC. The Greek philosopher Hippocrates believed in viewing the whole person in regards to finding a cause of disease, and using the laws of nature to induce cure. It was from this original school of thought that Naturopathy takes its principles.
The healing power of nature- nature has the innate ability to heal
Identify and treat the cause – there is always an underlying cause, be it physical or emotional
Do no harm- a Naturopath will never use treatments that may create other conditions
Treat the whole person- when preparing a treatment plan, all aspects of a person’s being are taken into consideration
The Naturopath as a teacher – a Naturopath empowers the person to take responsibility for his/her own health by teaching self-care
Prevention is better than cure – a Naturopath may remove situations from a patient’s lifestyle to prevent the onset of further disease
Wellness follows the establishment and maintenance of optimum health and balance. Wellness is a state of being healthy, characterized by positive emotion, thought and action. Wellness is inherent in everyone, regardless of diseases. If wellness is recognized and experienced by an individual, they will more quickly heal a given disease than direct treatment of the disease alone.
A Naturopath is a health practitioner who applies natural therapies. They use nutrition, exercise, herbal medicine, homeopathy, ....etc
At a time when modern technology, environmental pollution, poor diet, and stress play a significant role in the degradation of health, a Naturopath’s ability to apply natural methods of healing is of considerable importance. Frequently, a Naturopath is the last resort in a patient’s long search for health. Providing personalised care to each patient, the naturopath sees humankind as a holistic unity of body, mind, and spirit.
Nevertheless the naturopath does not establish a medical diagnosis and his advice do not substitute current medical treatment
Reflexology is a therapy that uses pressure points on the feet to stimulate reflexes that correspond to all the glands, organs, and different parts of the body. It is considered to be simultaneously detoxifying, relaxing, and stimulating for the whole body
It is a natural way to relieve stress and tension, improve vitality and maintain better health.
What can reflexology do for you?
Relaxation - The therapy encourages the body and mind to enter a deeply relaxed state
Enhancing overall well-being
After my studies in international trade, I moved to Chicago in order to perfect my English.
Back in France, I worked as a sales representative in several companies of the Toulouse area.
I was able to observe everything that leads a person to burn-out and depression: Stress, injustice, moral harassment,.. .etc.
Since I was powerless to help some of my colleagues in trouble and was barely able to manage my own stress, I decided to change my life around. This is how I discovered Naturopathy...
I was already aware of natural medicines and the importance of having a healthy and balanced diet. As a wife and a mother, mindful of the well being of my family, I was already applying, unknowingly, some naturopathy fundamentals.
I enrolled in a federal school of naturopathy in Toulouse, Euronature.
During my training I discovered, among other things, foot reflexology.
When I realized what a deep relaxation a session could bring, I felt passion for this topic and I enrolled in an other comprehensive foot reflexology training.
I am certified by the french federation of naturopath "The FENAHMAN"and member of the OMNES (Organisation of natural medecine and sanitary education)
I am certified in reflexology by the federation ERVE France"
